Peter Jones - Director Corporate Communications

Peter Jones' career has been divided between journalism and PR. He worked as a journalist in the West Midlands and London before moving into public relations with British Airways. He later spent four years in corporate and financial consultancy as a director with two quoted PR and communications consultancies before returning to British Airways just prior to privatisation in 1975. As head of public relations, he was responsible for the airline's internal and external communications, both in the UK and overseas.

He joined Bupa in July 1997. He is responsible for all aspects of internal and external corporate communications including Government affairs.

He is a frequent lecturer on communications and crisis management, a Freeman of the City of London and a founder member of the Guild of Public Relations Practitioners.
